Get Ready for A Taste of Waverly Village!
Whether you're hungry from running the Baltimore Marathon or just hungry for some local flavor, you'll find what you're looking for at A Taste of Waverly Village!
On Saturday, October 11, bring the whole family for fall fun and a celebration of eating and shopping local at A Taste of Waverly Village. From 4 to 9 p.m. at the 32nd Street Farmers Market, you can sample treats from the eclectic restaurants on Waverly Main Street, including Darker Than Blue Cafe (Southern American cuisine), India Tandoor, and more, plus locally-produced Raven beer. Tasting tickets cost just $1 each.
You can also get a head start on your holiday shopping with local crafters who will be selling their handmade goods. Drop your kids off at the Kid Zone -- complete with a moonbounce -- for fun while you shop and eat. And while you shop, enjoy live music from local musicians:
4-4:45 p.m.: Hornsby and Clark
5-6 p.m.: The Chroma Blend
6:25-7:25 p.m: Sandy Asirvatham
7:45-8:45 p.m.: The Reactors
A Taste of Waverly Village is sponsored by Greater Homewood Community Corporation, Waverly Main Street, Greenmount Loan and Jewelry, Giant Food, Gertrude's at the Baltimore Museum of Art, and Beverage Capital Corporation.
